About Chef Schafer 
Tim Schafer, Chef and Alumni of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY, has been a highly acclaimed chef for nearly 20 years.

Mr. Schafer, also known as “The Brewchef”, is considered to be the foremost authority on cooking with beer in the country.  Tim has demonstrated his inspiring beer enhanced cuisine worldwide and has appeared numerous times on the Food Network, HGTV and several other food related productions sharing his passion for cooking with beer.

Chef Tim is also a regular columnist for The Ale Street News and a freelance beer and food writer.  His works have been featured in the Philadelphia Daily News, The Newark Star Ledger, Zymurgy and in various cooking publications.
